 Born in 1956Profession: Chemist City: Düsseldorf Other interests: Macrofotos, computer (programming languages, linux) I ran through the classicals steps for hobbymicroscopists in my age: With ten years I got a toy microscope that at least was good enough to awake my interest in microscopy. Later there was no time for the hobby: studies in chemistry, occupation, marriage and 2 sons. But with the time my wife and got some more free time and could do some more microscopy and other hobbies. I am using a NOVEX KB binocular and a Zeiss Axiolab microscope. Mainly I am interested in lichens and mosses, but from tome to time I am looking at some lake-water, diatoms and botanical sections, too. |
